If one word defines Jamie and Greg’s destination wedding in Tamarindo, it is happiness. Few brides have smiled as much as Jamie did throughout her wedding day. From the preparations to the final photograph, that wonderful smile never left her face.
Jamie and Greg travelled from New York to celebrate their destination wedding in Costa Rica. They chose Casa Puros Dieces, an intimate setting in Tamarindo where they could share the experience with their family and friends.
Joy was present from the beginning. Nevertheless, there was also plenty of emotion and more than one completely unexpected moment. One of them happened as Jamie entered the ceremony. Suddenly, her veil took on a life of its own and flew away from her head.
However, that was not the veil’s final adventure. Soon afterwards, it became part of the officiant’s outfit. Rather than interrupting the occasion, these moments caused plenty of laughter and perfectly reflected the personality of the celebration.
Every scene revealed the connection between Jamie and Greg. Moreover, their positive energy spread among all their guests. The knowing glances, laughter and embraces made the wedding feel personal, spontaneous and deeply authentic.
A destination wedding in Tamarindo filled with happiness
As a wedding photographer, days like this are a wonderful reminder of why real stories deserve to be documented. The unexpected moments did not spoil anything. Instead, they became some of the funniest and most personal memories of the day.
Jamie enjoyed every moment with a smile, while Greg shared the quiet happiness visible throughout the photographs. At the same time, their family and friends fully embraced the celebration.
The planning, decoration and setting created a beautiful atmosphere. However, the couple’s energy was what made this wedding truly special. They did not need everything to be perfect to experience an unforgettable day.
