Wedding at Aal Cachucho, Madrid
Every wedding is special. The way I see it, a wedding is a unique day when two people experience and share their love without reservation. They express it in front of their closest friends and relatives, creating memories that will remain with them forever.
However, when the couple are close friends, every emotion takes on a different meaning. Bea and Iván’s wedding at Aal Cachucho was one of those celebrations that I was fortunate enough to experience from a very personal perspective.
Witnessing their love, remaining close throughout the day and preserving every moment with my camera awakened feelings that are difficult to describe. Moreover, photographing a wedding among friends makes every glance, embrace and spontaneous gesture even more meaningful.
That is precisely what I love most about being a wedding photographer. I can become part of real stories and document them from within. When such a strong personal connection exists, every emotion seems to be multiplied.
The intimate wedding of two close friends
Bea and Iván’s wedding was a true expression of their personalities. It was intimate, warm and free from clichés. Above all, it was filled with honest emotions and wonderfully entertaining moments.
They chose Aal Cachucho for their celebration. This beautiful country estate is located in San Agustín del Guadalix, Madrid. Its gardens, open spaces and natural surroundings welcomed their wedding on a Friday in June.
My intention was to observe and photograph the day exactly as it happened. Nothing needed to be directed or transformed. Their friendship, their connection and the happiness shared with their guests gave meaning to every image.
Over the years, I have become more reserved with words. Therefore, I prefer to let gestures and photographs speak for me. In this story, the images reveal how I see your love through my camera.
It is a love that makes me feel proud and perhaps even a little envious, always with affection. I can only repeat what I felt at the time: “I wish I could live for another hundred years, if only to keep your memory alive.”
